Ambassador Training Kit

The challenge was to develop a portable tool kit to bring to life the quality and heritage messages of Bacardi Superior rum during in-bar bartender training sessions. Our solution was to design and produce the Ambassador Kit.

This is an easily transportable training aid that lets bartenders taste rums from different stages of the revolutionary production process. It also includes a sample of sugar cane (to illustrate that Bacardi Superior rum is a cane, not a molasses spirit), a barrel stave to highlight the wood-ageing process, and information cards so the trainer has all necessary reference materials to hand. Embossed into the leather case are historic medals dating back to the 18th century that Bacardi rum had won at expositions around the world.

The Ambassador Kit was produced to exceptional quality standards to reflect the craft, skill and care that the Maestros de Ron (master distillers) bring to the blending of Bacardi Superior rum. Within two years the number of in-bar training sessions increased from zero to approximately 10,000.
