  • The Spirit of the Age of Elegance

The Spirit of the Age of Elegance was a series of coordinated events we developed for the top end of the on-trade, key influencers and associated press. The intention was to engage them with Bacardi Superior rum's provenance and, in particular, its contribution to the Golden Age of Cocktails.

The programme began with a week of events in key bars around London - The Connaught, The Artesian Bar in Langham Hotel, Portobello Star and Soho's Quo Vadis. These took the form of intimate seminars for bartenders and 20-30 invited guests, with drinks menus from the period and guest speakers.

The week then culminated in a grand event for about 200 invitation-only guests in an historic London house that we transformed into a suitable backdrop for a glamorous 1930s-style social gathering. This included creating an Archive Room with historic items from the Bacardi family archive, many of which were auctioned off during the evening for charity.

We managed every aspect of The Spirit of the Age of Elegance, from creating the strategy and concept through to delivering and managing all the events, including invitations, guest lists, venues, guest speakers, interior design, catering and bar.
